HV Run Pictures
Here are some pictures from today’s run:
We had 6 cars (5 Mini Cooper S) driving through Ulster County and finally up to Hawk’s Nest. We had 2 first timers to a Hudson Valley Run (Dave and Heather). Heather actually lead us on the last part to Hawks nest and did a awesome job.

Hudson Valley Meet 3/22/2009

We will begin the season by having our first Spring Hudson Valley Meet with a detailing theme. So if you need or want to wash, wax and give your car a good spring cleaning stop on by.
10 - 12 Car Detailing (Bring your favorite detailing supplies)

So Dan stopped by and helped me with my Alta DFIC install and after the install we went for a ride and he was blown away (depressed/pissed) how much faster my car felt then his. I am not saying this had to do with just the Alta DFIC install because he noticed it the last time we took my car for a ride. So there is a nice stretch of road that with nothing around so in my car we were able to get to 110 in this area.
Dan was so obsessed to see what his car could do in this stretch as soon as we got back we had to go back in his car and we both noticed there was a big difference in the 2 cars just in acceleration getting to the the spot where we could really gauge it against my car. The result was alittle under 100 and the next day his car was sold and he is now a owner of a new Honda SI :(.
Dan will always be coleader of the Hudson Valley Mini Club and has lead the best runs hands downs and will continue to do so in the future it will just be in a slightly different car
